We’re proud to announce that Dalton Dryburgh, PE, has earned his Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) certification! Dryburgh earns his PTOE certification, reflecting his long-term commitment to transportation engineering and the high standards of excellence our clients can expect from Apex. Congrats to newly licensed PE Zach Kubas, who earned his North Dakota Professional Engineer’s license. Zach is an engineer in the water group, having joined Apex immediately after graduation. Zach has spent significant time as a resident project representative on a large, local wastewater treatment facility project. He has experience in water treatment facility design, water treatment processes, and sanitary sewer rehabilitation. Read his new hire press release to learn more about Zach’s background.

We’re proud to announce the new Transportation Sector Leader, Josh Olson.
Josh has been with Apex since our founding in 2010 and brings 27 years of transportation engineering experience to this leadership role. Josh will guide the continued growth of Apex’s transportation markets. His responsibilities include strategic planning, business development, client engagement, and hiring key transportation staff, all in collaboration with Apex leadership and operations teams.

During the summer of 2024, Leah Haman joined the Apex Engineering Group Transportation group as an Intern. Now that she has completed her schooling, Apex hires Haman full-time as a Graduate Engineer. She earned her BS in civil engineering from Valparaiso University. Haman interned at two other engineering firms before interning at Apex.

Apex Engineering Group has expanded its GIS capabilities by hiring GIS Analyst Amanda Hoffman. She has three years of experience supporting infrastructure, environmental, and utility projects with mapping, spatial analysis, and data management. Amanda attended Gustavus Adolphus College and earned bachelor’s degrees in geography, biology, and environmental studies. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in GIS at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities.

We鈥檙e proud to announce Lelan Bosch earns his PE license in North Dakota, officially joining the ranks of licensed Professional Engineers. This milestone reflects both his technical expertise and commitment to the clients and communities we serve.

Since joining Apex in 2019, Lelan has been a key contributor to the electrical engineering team. His experience spans from design through construction closeout, using a range of CAD programs and design applications for modeling, calculations, graphic development, document tracking, and construction support.

Lelan holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from North Dakota State University. Congratulations to Lelan Bosch on this well-earned achievement!

Congratulations to Municipal Market Leader Bob Schlieman on his new leadership role at Apex Engineering Group. Bob brings 21 years of experience in municipal engineering to this role, which will guide the strategic growth of our municipal services through collaboration, client service, and leadership development.

Dmytro Dokukin joins Apex as an Engineering Technician for the municipal group. He recently earned an AAS degree in Architectural Drafting & Design from the Minnesota State Community and Technical College in Detroit Lakes. In his new role, he will assist the team with design, inspection and some survey work.

Way to go, Chloe Anderson, on completing this next step in your career! Advancing her career, Anderson achieves PE milestone by earning her license in Minnesota. Earning a PE requires hard work and commitment outside of a typical workday. She started as an Apex intern in 2019 and worked part-time while finishing her degree at North Dakota State University. In 2021, after finishing her degree in civil engineering, she joined the water group full-time. In her role as a Graduate Engineer, she has worked on big projects, including the聽Appleton Water Treatment Facility聽and the 2.5 MG downtown Fargo Water Tower.
